Teach the grade 4 curriculum to 2 students with a compatible skill level and schedule, emphasizing assessing the individual student and meeting all students’ needs. Lessons and coursework will meet the expectations of the four strands in the curriculum to enable students to understand, respond to, create, and comprehend a range of literary, informational, and media texts (Ontario Curriculum). Students will receive the same activities as Regular; however, Semi-Private differs in the following:

• Students will engage in oral language through peer reading and class discussions, such as brainstorming topic knowledge, strategies to solve writing errors, presenting ideas, and discussing peer work.
• Students will receive tailored curriculum lessons and flexibility to address the specific needs of the two students.
